2 Seconds Campaign

Problem: Drink spiking can make a person extremely vulnerable and ill and have a lasting impact on there life a wellbeing

Insight: It can take just 2 seconds for someone to spike a drink

Solution: Create a campaign that will raise awareness, help educate spiking prevention and help victims

The Print Adverts

We began by thinking about why people leave there drinks unattended and found that most people leave their drinks because they want to use the bathroom, do their makeup or go for a cigarette, so we created these copy print adverts and placed them in those areas to remind people of what might happen if they leave their drink alone

The Social Media Adverts

It can be extremely difficult to spot somebody who is spiking a drink at a nightclub or a bar. To highlight this we have created a wheres Wally/Waldo? style illustration, asking social media users to find the man in the white shirt. Once users have found the man they will be able to see that he is spiking a drink.

Another element of the campaign we want to introduce is the house party kit. An insight we found said that one in three spiking incidents happen at house parties. In order to combat this we have created the house party kit, with all your party essentials but also including drink spiking test kits. this will be available in retail stores to buy and also online making It easily accessible.
